A training room is a room or space that has a table and chairs that can be set up in various layouts to suite training people.
Examples of training room layouts are: Boardroom, Cabaret (small round tables), Classroom (lines of chairs), U-Shape (tables set up in shape of a big letter U) and Theater (like a movie theater and a stage).
How much does a training room cost?
Training rooms range from $150 - 350 per hour during business hours and range from $500 - 10,000 per day depending on size and layouts. 250 - 500 per hour after hours.
Catering and added extras are sometimes included (usually with hotels) or added on as separate costs.
What are the cancellation terms?
These are venue by venue based. Most venues work on terms that allow a percentage to be reimbursed if cancellations are provided with scaling notice periods. Again this depends on the size of the training room requirement.
How long can I book a training room for?
You can book for literally any duration. One hour or five days. When clients book long duration's like full days or weeks, we work to secure discounted rates from the venues.
What to expect from the venues?
A commercial training room (4 x walls and a door) with ample space for tables, chairs and any presentation or training equipment required.
The coordinators will meet and greet all the attendees and show the attendees to the room, seat them and ensure all the requirements are met.
Can I connect my laptop to help present?
You sure can! All venues offer WIFI or Wired Internet.
Data projectors are best combined with your laptop to present and train lots of people.
What are the quality of training rooms like?
This is very subjective but very much like booking a hotel room. As in low end, middle and high end venues all offering wide ranging levels of service and quality of venue which is usually consistent in pricing. ie high end venues will cost more than low end.
Can we organize our own catering?
Most venues will offer their own catering but should you wish to bring your own, they will generally charge a nominal fee for plates, utensils and rubbish removal.
